Vegetarian Diets and Scientific Data:

The American Dietetic Association:
“...scientific data suggest positive relationships between a vegetarian diet and reduced risk for several chronic degenerative diseases and conditions including obesity, coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes mellitus, and some types of cancer. It is the position of the ADA that vegetarian and vegan diets are healthful, are nutritionally adequate, provide health benefits in the prevention and treatment of certain diseases, and are appropriate for all stages of the life cycle, including during pregnancy and lactation...”

OUR PURPOSE

Our purpose is to educate our community about the value of plant based meals. This school is a hands-on experiential learning and resource center for all ages and abilities. We teach the benefits of preparing and enjoying whole plant food in its original, unrefined, and unprocessed state. These meals are delicious, nutritious, easy to prepare, and appealing to everyone, especially children.

We are a nonprofit charitable organization teaching plant based meal preparation as a pubic service to individuals, organizations, and the general public.
